Rich in mineral salts and vitamins A, B and C, Hibiscus has a high amount of essential nutrients for the normal functioning of the body. It is commonly used natural or dehydrated in various culinary dishes, from sauces to fresh salads. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial properties, Hibiscus contributes to good digestion and a reduction in abdominal swelling through its purifying action. It also helps to strengthen defenses and relax muscles. It also has benefits for cognitive, kidney and intestinal function.

In Greco-Roman and Egyptian mythology, Hibiscus represents the feminine universe directly related to the goddesses Aphrodite, Venus and Isis. There are many myths, legends and traditions surrounding this flower, including in Tahiti where young women identify their love status by the position of the Hibiscus in their ears. According to this tradition, women who have placed the Hibiscus in the corner of their right ear are available to find a partner. If not, they will have already found him. The Hibiscus flower is also used to offer to tourists as a gesture of welcome to the country.

Hibiscus - Scientifically called "Hibiscus L.", HIBISCUS is a plant belonging to the Malvaceae family with around 300 species. However, only a few of these species are edible, such as the popular Hibiscus sabdariffa used to make Hibiscus tea. Most species are used as ornamental plants in gardens. The origin of Hibiscus is unknown, but it is suspected that it was first produced in Asia and East Africa. It later spread to Europe.

Enjoy Hibiscus Tea full of floral aromas that turn it into a unique and refreshing drink with a slightly acidic taste. High in Vitamin C, Hibiscus can contribute to boosting immunity and body energy.
