    Ceylon Black Tea BOP1 Leaves

Teas | Medicinal Plants | Aromatic Herbs | Tisanes | Infusions

Black tea is the result of blending the oldest leaves from one of the Camellia sinensis bushes. Compared to other teas, Black Tea has the highest percentage of oxidation. This difference gives Black Tea a more intense flavor. After harvesting, the green leaves undergo an osmosis process lasting a maximum of 20 hours. They are then rolled by hand or by machine. It is at this stage that the tea leaves begin their oxidation process. Finally, the leaves are left to dry naturally.

Black tea is made with even older leaves and undergoes a longer fermentation process. For this reason, it has much less antioxidant action than the other two teas and a lot of caffeine, which will contribute to weight loss. The processes for its production are: internal drainage without rotation, rotation, fermentation, fine drying.

It helps with weight loss because it contains caffeine and polyphenols. This is because caffeine speeds up metabolism and fat burning. While catechins, a type of polyphenol, reduce appetite and also reduce fat.

Learn how to prepare your cold tea: Pour two tablespoons of tea into 1.5 liters of boiled water, let it cool and then put it in the fridge. If you want to add sugar to your tea, you should do so while it's still hot. For a healthier option, add 1 dessert spoon of stevia (don't let it steep for more than 3 minutes as it will make your drink too sweet). You get a wonderful ICE TEA without any added sugars or artificial preservatives.
