    Barley Flakes

Dried Vegetables | Cereals | Carbohydrates | Flours | Gluten Free

Barley is a cereal rich in nutrients (B vitamins, potassium, fluoride, silicic acid, iron and fiber). Barley flakes are easy to digest and can be used as breakfast cereals, in smoothies, to enrich soups or other dishes, to accompany meals (replacing rice or pasta). They are also widely used to thicken sauces and to make breads, crepes, cakes and other confectionery.

With all the characteristics of barley, barley flakes are ideal for breakfast, snacks or even as a snack. They can be served with any drink, whether it's a milk substitute or not, or with yogurt.

Barley flakes should be cooked for 10 minutes with twice as much water or vegetable milk such as soy, almond, spelt or oat milk. It can be served with any drink, milk substitute or not, or with yogurt. Adding cinnamon, lemon zest or coconut sugar, for example, gives the flakes an excellent flavor.

May contain traces of other nuts and soy.
