Egyptian Dukkah is a delicious and traditional Egyptian recipe, scented with spices and made up of a healthy blend of toasted and coarsely crushed oil seeds, such as pistachios and hazelnuts.
Despite being the most common in Egypt, the Egyptian Dukkah is increasingly known and used in other countries, due to the strong Lebanese and Arab influence.
It can also be used to season salads, soups, rice, boiled or sautéed vegetables, as a finishing touch to mashed potatoes or even on grilled chicken fillets.
Traditionally, Egyptians enjoy dipping a piece of bread in olive oil and then in the Dukkah. Let your imagination run wild to create your own combination.
